When this shot was taken, it was very dark in the hall, and Sarah was singing from the balcony, whilst we were all down below in the main body of the hall. This meant I had to have full zoom on my camera. It's a minor miracle that anything was visible!
(And I had to do a bunch of jiggery pokery with Photoshop, as well).
Have a closer look at the eyes. Spot the trick? In the original, Sarah was looking straight ahead, but red eye had given her a demon look. So I fixed the red eye, and I realised that if I made her "look" in the direction of the camera, it made for a much more engaging photo. It was so successful, it's a wonder I don't do it in more of my images.... |
